timeblock collagenmax/VeCollal®
VeCollal® increases collagen production by 134.97 %.
VeCollal® is a vegan, sustainable and allergen-free alternative to conventional collagen products. More than 70 independent studies scientifically prove the efficacy of VeCollal® and its ingredients. To verify the efficacy of VeCollal®, researchers used human skin fibroblasts (the most important cell types involved in collagen synthesis).

Different concentrations of VeCollal® were tested in a growth medium and compared to the collagen expressed from cells without treatment (MOCK). Our results demonstrated that the VeCollal® formula in a concentration of 10 mg/ml enormously stimulates the synthesis of new collagen in the cells. After only two days, collagen production in the fibroblasts had more than doubled (+134.97%) thanks to the treatment with VeCollal® and compared to the control samples.

VeCollal® reduces wrinkles by 13 % and increases collagen density by 4.7% in only 4 weeks.
Participants: 15 adult test persons aged 25 to 65 years, 10 of whom used VeCollal® and 5 received a placebo
Daily dose: VeCollal® 2500 mg
Method: The test persons were asked to consume daily doses for a period of 4 weeks. Each test person had to undergo measurements of their skin condition and blood sampling in weeks 0, 2 and 4.
Test parameters: Skin wrinkles and skin collagen density.
Results: VeCollal® reduced the average wrinkle value by 13% in only 4 weeks.
As far as collagen density is concerned, the average value after a 4-week intake of VeCollal® was 4.7% higher than in the first week.
Both in in-vitro and in-vivo studies, VeCollal® demonstrated that it stimulates collagen production in the skin, which leads to fewer wrinkles and higher collagen density in the skin.

The prebiotic formula of timeblock collagenmax increases all SCFA (short chain fatty acid) levels, especially that of propionate in the lumen and of butyrate in the mucosa. This increase could be observed in vitro and is the result of the quantitative shift of the respective bacteria.

Regarding the utilization of xylitol in the body, researchers observed that each of the bacteria lactobacillus reuteri, bacteroides fragilis and escherichia coli utilized the excreted metabolites of the other two respective organisms.
At a molecular level, it was demonstrated that xylitol dehydrogenase (EC 1.1.1.14), xylulokinase (EC 2.7.1.17) and xylulosephosphate isomerase (EC 5.1.3.1) are key enzymes in the xylitol metabolism and occur in bacteroids and lachnospiraceae. This is why they are considered key bacteria for xylitol digestion.
Besides, it became evident that xylitol influences the metabolic pathway of propionate by significantly promoting the transcription of the phosphate acetyl transferase (EC 2.3.1.8) in the bifidobacterium and thus increasing the production of propionate.
Conclusions
These results show that the key enzymes for the digestion of xylitol from different bacteria can together promote the growth of the intestinal microecology, but also increase propionate concentration, which, in turn reduces the pH value and restricts the relative quantities of escherichia and staphylococcus.
Due to the mutual feeding and competition among these bacteria, xylitol can dynamically balance the ratios of the intestinal microbiome and promote enzymes related to the xylitol metabolism and SCFA.
